Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Tata Homecare Services is seeking compassionate, dependable, and skilled Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality, in-home care to our clients. The CNA will assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promote independence, and ensure a safe, comfortable home environment while maintaining dignity and respect at all times. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide assistance with transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the supervising nurse or care coordinator.
• Take and record vital signs as assigned.
• Assist with medication reminders (as permitted by state regulations and company policy).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping related to client care (laundry, meal preparation, tidying client areas).
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.
• Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with clients and families.

Qualifications

• Current and active CNA certification in the state of [State].
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum [1 year preferred] experience in home care, long-term care, or healthcare setting.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if travel is required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.

• Physical ability to assist with lifting, transfers, and mobility.

• Working Conditions
• Work performed in clients’ homes.
• May require standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs with assistance), and repositioning clients.
• Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
